About Jamables

Welcome to Jamables – the future of spontaneous social music creation. Our mission is to bring people together through the universal language of music, enabling anyone, anywhere, to create music in real time with just a few clicks.

Our Story

Jamables was born out of a passion for both social music and technology. Founded by Mark Palmer, a computer scientist with a deep love for social music, Jamables aims to revolutionize the way we experience and create music together. Mark's journey has involved combining cutting-edge technology with a lifelong dedication to fostering communal music experiences.

About Mark Palmer

Mark Palmer

Mark Palmer's career spans over three decades, with roots in the early development of spatial database systems – a precursor to technologies like Google Maps. With graduate degrees in Computer Science, published research, patents, and a fascination with how technology can enhance our universal human experience, Mark has always been involved in developing the newest software and internet technologies.

Technology is just one side of Mark's story. His other passion is music, particularly the social and communal aspects of it. From the vibrant drum circles of the Grateful Dead concerts in the 1980s to his role in organizing drum circles on Nantucket Island, Mark has spent a lifetime exploring and studying how music brings people together. His experiences have inspired the development of Jamables, to create a platform that fosters the generation of spontaneous music.
